Today is F day for my Little Einsteins Preschoolers. My plan was to theme the whole day of school around Fish. Last night I was preparing everything for the agenda, including our household Goldfish "Nemo". I cleaned Nemo's fish bowl to get him ready for the "Big Day" at Preschool. And when I woke up early this morning to get a drink of water, he was floating at the top of the bowl. I couldn't believe it! Emily, Cody, & Skyelar gave Reagan this goldfish for her second Birthday. The movie "Finding Nemo" had just been released- hence the name. Nobody could believe we have kept this goldfish alive for almost four years. Then the one day he was to make his grand appearance and show off for my students -he kicked the bucket. Nemo was the best pet anyone could ask for. He was very low maintenance and brought the children and their friends joy every time they looked at him. They loved to feed him and sing to him daily. We are all going to miss him dearly. After our sad morning and little flushing funeral, we went to a new all-access park which turned out to brighten all their moods. The pictures below show how much fun the kids and their friends had. Even their fun and spunky cousin Dayton could join them in the excitement!
