I NEED You To PRAY. . . .

This is my sister Amy and my nephew Jace. Thursday & Friday Jace stayed home from school because he has been feeling sick. His doctor has been running blood test to figure out what is wrong. The initial thought was mono. . . until Friday evening, then they started looking more closely to his elevated levels in blood and decided it was a lot more serious. They sent them that night to Primary Children's Hospital and diagnosed him with Leukemia! My heart just aches typing this out. I'm still in shock that my sweet little nephew has cancer. I left Saturday morning to see him and he had already been through so much. He is such an amazing little boy with a shinning future ahead of him. I love him more than I could put into words. You can check out his blog http://ironmanjace.blogspot.com/. I'm blogging about this because I believe there is strength in numbers, and I know so many of you have such strong testimonies and that the Lord hears your prayers. I ask of you this night to pray for my dear Jace, his parents Matt & Amy, and his brother Hayden! My entire family is struggling right now with the unknown and trying to find strength is everything we can!

Natalie I've commented on your blog a couple of times and follow your blog from Janiel. I live in Rexburg and just heard the news of Jace. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and especially little Jace. I wish I could give them a great big hug and help to take away the pain. How quickly things have changed for your entire family!! Please know that we will be praying for them and you.

Oh my goodness, you hear things like this and immediatly your heart goes into your throat and you think...oh my goodness, that could be my little one. It IS someones little one!!! Each morning we wake up, and just go about our day. We never fully appreciate our health or how blessed we are. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Please keep us posted on how Jace and his family are doing. If there is ever ANYTHING you can think of that I can do to ease some burdens, dont hesitate to ask. Its times like that not only are numbers important in prayers and faith but also in sharing the burdens.

Natalie... There are no words to express my feelings that I've had since I heard from you friday night about Jace... You know that my heart is with Jace and my thoughts since we got the news have been with him... How overwhelming the past 3 days have been for Matt, Amy and Hayden, one could never imagine... You know that your family looks to you for their positive source of energy and that's why Amy asked you to come back to the hospital to lighten things up... Keep that smile on your face because Jace needs you to keep your head up... Remember ,,,, Jace is an amazing little boy and more courageous than most people ever are in a lifetime... Love you and loving Jace!!!

I stumbled upon your blog but I read the post about your nephew and I would just like to say how sorry I am. I was diagnosed with a rare cancer 5 years ago, I can't imagine having that news about one of my children. My heart and prayers go out to your sister, your nephew and your entire family. I pray for a full remission.

What Natalie Means
You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are a seeker. You often find yourself restless - and you have a lot of questions about life. You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You're most comfortable when you're far away from home. You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble. You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily. Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is. You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together. At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.
